Grief is Medicine!

I was at work and I found a book of prayers for certain situations and one of them was grief. Whew, let me tell you all about it! lol

  • Grief is not an enemy.
  • In Luke 6:21, it says “Blessed are you who weep, for you will laugh”
  • It is gift of cleansing, and healing of my emotions.
  • It is medicine.
  • It is evidence that we have the capacity to love, and to express our emotions.
  • When we lack grief, it shows that our love for certain things is shallow.
  • It is not a sign of weakness, but strength.

When you cry, or feel sad, just let it all out because it shows that God is right there comforting you, holding you. He is the external healer of grief. Just remember that there is no trouble, test, or trial that can ever touch me until, first of all, it has gone past God, and past Christ. If it has gone through God and Christ to come all the way down to me, best believe it has come with a great purpose. Its natural that we may not understand how at that moment.

“I see it has honor that you would pay attention to me because you are working for me.
